Sea Trials

Sea trials can be organised by NW Surveying Services It would be normal to also commission an engineer who can evaluate the performance and condition of the engines. Should there be any defects within the engines or transmission, this is likely to make itself evident during the sea trial.

On the sea trial, overall vessel performance will be evaluated, the steering, controls, shafting, engine monitoring, exhaust system and the structural hull elements will also be tested while under load. Electronic equipment will also be tested for accuracy where possible.

Sea Trials have to take place with the owner or his representative in attendance and all liability would rest with them.
